Under Mount
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- From a trapeze or front mount, swing the yoyo under your other hand.
- Bring it up onto the lower string.
- Keep the yoyo below your hands.
- Either dismount or roll into something else.
Tips
Think 'scooping it up from below.' Don't let the strings twist around each other.
The physics
You're moving the yoyo from one supporting string to a different one, which changes how the strings pull.
