Plastic Whip
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- Throw a sleeper.
- Hold the string close to the yoyo with your throw hand.
- Whip a loop of string around the yoyo.
- Let the loop drop into the gap of the yoyo.
- Bind or keep going.
Tips
The loop needs to go AROUND the yoyo, not slap into it. Don't let the yoyo move.
The physics
The moving loop catches in the spinning yoyo's gap. Once it's in there, the spin grabs it tight.
