Green Triangle
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- Get there from a Magic Drop, wrist mount, slack, or another way.
- Set up a triangle of string with the yoyo on one of the lower strings.
- Hold the triangle open.
- Exit by popping out through the opening or dropping the right string.
Tips
Some triangles tangle easily, others are safe. Don't bind from a triangle unless you know it won't knot.
The physics
It looks like a closed shape but it's usually really an open loop in disguise. Pull the wrong string and you get a real knot.
