Buddha's Revenge
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- Get into a front mount.
- Roll the yoyo through several layers of string.
- Open up the strings into a bucket shape.
- Send the yoyo through the middle.
- Exit cleanly.
Tips
The string tightness matters. Too tight and the rolls jam. Too loose and the shape falls apart.
The physics
The mount holds the yoyo steady because the strings are pulling on it evenly from different directions.
