Black Hops
Single-handed string tricks. One yoyo, usually one that does NOT come back on a tug. You land it on strings and move it through different shapes. This is the biggest modern style.
How to do it
- Get into the starting Black Hops mount.
- Pop the yoyo through a series of openings in the strings.
- Move your hands between hops.
- Catch on the right string each time.
- Finish.
Tips
Pop straight up and high enough. The receiving string needs to be flat before the yoyo lands.

A bunch of small jumps, each landing through a small gap in the strings.
